League Rules
Rules of play are subject to change…
The Fall League will begin with Scotty Ball
Scotty Ball Rules:
EXCEPTIONS TO NFHS HIGH SCHOOL RULES
(Where exceptions are not outlined, normal NFHS rules apply)

2 hours or 9 innings (whichever comes first)

Metal Bats only; Bats restricted to -5 (wood bats are illegal)

MLB Baseballs or Jugs Pearls only

No bunts allowed

Turf shoes or rubber cleats required on artificial pitching mounds without exceptions. Metal spikes ok everywhere else and on dirt mounds

Balks are live, meaning the offense has the opportunity to choose the best result, between the balk or the ball in play.

Runners must peel or slide in force situations

No pop up slides

Speed ups for pitcher/catchers/injuries

Ties are not allowed. Prevention of ties is as follows:

If the game is tied at the end of regulation the next inning will begin with bases loaded by the 3 most recent batters
